Personality
On the surface he is calm and apathetic; a facade he uses to not let others in. He has trust issues with others thanks to his parent’s destructive relationship. He has a dry sense of humor with a sharp tongue, as well as having a bitter view on the world. He can be a bit abrasive and will not take into consideration how his words may affect someone.

Once he trusts you, he opens up more and shows more emotion. He becomes very possessive of the people that he lets in and refuses to give them up to anyone. There are a few people he will deem worthy to let them in, and its then that you see a side of him that he would never show in public. Where he is happy, and can joke around with you easily. His sarcasm is still there, but its not used to hurt anyone, its more or less used to tease others.

When he was younger he was picked on, and back then he was feeble and meek. He has grown up since those days and he is a confident person, but not cocky. He knows his worth and he strives to achieve his goals no matter what obstacles get in his way.

Brief History

Adolescence

He was born in New Orleans, and the only son to Carlisle and Laurie Perriloux. He was a quiet kid that kept to himself and wasn’t that popular when he was in elementary school. In fact, he was the kid that was picked on the most! He never had the cool shoes that the other boys had. He wore a Power Rangers t-shirt (Green Ranger being his favorite), khakis and some beat up old tennis shoes. His parents didn’t see the point in him needing trendy, expensive shoes. They were already scraping by as it was.

In middle school he made a few friends and wasn’t picked on as much. Kids were finally realizing that picking on others was starting to get old and focused on something more important; Dating. Remy didn’t socialize much with the girls then, but they definitely tried to flirt with him. It was about seventh grade he was starting to develop his good looks, and many of the girls described him as ‘dreamy’. But Remy never gave them the time of day. The boys were jealous of the attention he was getting and they tried to be buddy-buddy with Remy, hoping to use him to get to the girls he rejected.

Except, he managed to get close to one girl: Amelia Morgan. She was definitely strange, and stuck to him like white on rice even though he did nothing to acknowledge her. Deciding that the cold treatment wasn't working, he finally talked to her at lunch during their third quarter together. And slowly but surely, they became close friends. Many people assumed that they were a couple.

It was during his eighth grade year that they was a strain on his home life. His parents weren’t getting along as well as they used to, and he wasn’t getting along with his mother. She was cold and distant to him and disregarded his needs. This in turn caused him to be cold and distant to her. He was still close with his father and they had a tradition every Christmas to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas together.

When he entered high school was when his family completely fell apart. His mother had an affair and his father was devoted in making this marriage work. It was at this point that Remy’s relationship with his father was strained. He didn’t want him to forgive her. He wanted his father to divorce her and he would go live with him, but that didn’t happen. It was during Remy’s junior year that he had enough and decided to support himself (see: part time modeling) and stop relying on them. Amelia wanted to support him but due to Remy closing himself off from others, she couldn't do anything for him. Their friendship ended during Remy's senior year when she just couldn't take being kept at a distance.
